The production should always cater to the song, not the other way around,
In this day and age, the term Producer gets thrown around quite loosely, almost anyone who has a computer and can throw a beat together is now called a producer. Well not only can Ian do this, but he also fulfills a more encompassing, traditional role of a producer. Ian embraces the technology, and can also fully exploit living, breathing musicians, because he is one.
Versatility is what Ian himself would say is what makes him stand out as a producer. He feels equally comfortable with an array of different genres (listen to MP3s) and because he has worked and continues to work with such a diverse group of artists, Ian has the advantage of drawing from many facets when producing. From console, to vocals, to instruments, Ian can easily navigate through the recording process to get a great production.
Ian works on his own or with his production team Loud Neighbor Productions,
